Mental Health First Aiders

EAP offers Immediate 24-7, 365 days a year support, not just relating to mental health. They have legal advice lines, bereavement support, and debt advice.

If you are struggling, we can arrange for you to speak to an independent counsellor to get the help you need.

We have our Mental Health First Aiders, who are specially trained volunteers – your work colleagues – who are there to listen, care and help.

Managing Pressure

To help us start this conversation with our male workforce, we are launching a series of lunch and learn online sessions called Breaking the Silence: Men’s Mental Wellbeing.

This nine-month programme with Able Futures is designed to help you find a way of working that suits your mental wellbeing – helping you to remain in or return to work.

Visit our page to access the Pressure and Resilience Assessment and learn about training and information on how to manage excessive pressure at the workplace.

Men’s Mental Health and Wellbeing

‘Sometimes it can really difficult to talk about how you’re feeling, and it can also be difficult to approach someone that you might be concerned about.’

Mental health is something we should all be talking about and although as a society we are getting better, there remains a stigma around men’s mental health.
